In December 2022, Sotheby’s Hong Kong held its “Modern and Contemporary Art Sale”, bringing collectors 23 rare works by giants and rising stars such as Zao Wou-ki, Chu Tek-kwan, Yayoi Kusama, Michi Nara, Kathleen Bernhardt, and Sapolzis Bozo. The sale rate of this auction project reached 87%, 34.7% of the lots were sold above the estimate range, and 4 lots were sold over 10 million Hong Kong dollars.
In addition, Sotheby’s expanded its Buy Now “Instant Collection” global online business to Asia in December 2022, for the first time actively collecting the region’s most sought-after and expertly verified rare art and luxury goods. All the best items are sold at a fixed price and can be “collected instantly”, providing collectors with a new collection experience.
Our split flap display was used at Sotheby’s presentations to show details of the artwork, author descriptions, auction prices and more. This split flap display board can make visitors more intuitive to understand the relevant information of artworks, but also increase the interest and interaction of the display.
